Zofia Zak, 96, of Clifton passed away on October 25, 2011. Born in Poland, Zofia came to the US in 1966 and lived in Passaic before moving to Clifton 6 years ago. A parishioner of Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic, Zofia worked as a Care Giver at Immaculate Conception Convent for 17 years before retiring in 1983. Beloved wife of the late Jozef Zak. Devoted mother of Bronislawa Moskal and her husband Walter of Garfield, Mieczyslawa Czesnik and her husband Marian of Elmwood Park, Eugeniusz and his wife Sophia of Paterson, and Joseph and his late wife June of Clifton. Adored grandmother of Violet, Regina, Edward, Peter, Margaret, Barbara, Alicia, Gena, Alexandra, Christina, Christopher, Michelle and the late Elizabeth and Andrew. Cherished great grandmother of 18. Funeral Friday, 8 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at Holy Rosary RC Church. Interment, Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
