Obituary

Zofia Walentowicz, 84, of Clifton, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012. She was born in Poland. As a result of World War II, she and her family were taken to Siberia in 1940. With the Army of General Anders, she went to India and Persia (now Iran), and eventually settled in England. In 1952, she came with her family and settled in Passaic and later in Clifton. She was a parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. She enjoyed music, travel, and the company of friends and family. She is survived by her sons, Richard and his wife Kathy, Henry and his wife Karina, and Casey, together with six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Funeral Friday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Visiting Thursday 4-8 PM at the funeral home. www.ShookFH.com
