Zofia Koc, 73, of Clifton, passed away on September 12, 2023. Born in Frydman, Poland, she finished technical school and later married the late Andrzej Snoch.  They lived in Gdansk, where their son, Jacek was born.  In 1986, she moved to the US and lived in Passaic and Garfield before settling in Clifton.  Later, she married Antoni Koc and had a second son, Peter. She was a machine operator for Home Care Industries, Inc. in Clifton for many years and most recently, a housecleaner.  Zosia had a passion for cooking, baking, gardening, and caring for her beloved dog, Dexter.

She was an active parishioner of Holy Rosary RC Church in Passaic, where she devoted countless hours volunteering - cooking, baking, working events, and was an active member of the rosary society.  Her annual devotion and summertime commitment was serving as the head cook for the walking pilgrimage from Great Meadows to Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine in Doylestown, PA.

Zofia was predeceased by her parents, Jan and Anna Jurkowski; she was the devoted wife of the late Antoni Koc; the beloved mother of Jacek Koc and his wife Kimberly, and the late Peter Koc; as well as the cherished grandmother of Sabina, Adrianna, Lucia and Andrew; dear sister of Malgorzata Blachut, Elzbieta Pawlik, and the late Maria Brynczka, Jan, Franciszek, Celestyn, and Karol Jurkowski.  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family here and in Poland.

Visiting Tuesday, September 19th, 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave. Clifton. Funeral Wednesday, September 20th, 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
