Zofia Karcz, 90, of Lake Hopatcong, passed away on January 15, 2024.

Born in Stare Bystre, Poland, she came to the US in 1965 and lived in Passaic, Garfield and Clifton, before moving to Lake Hopatcong. A parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church, Garfield, Zofia was a seamstress for many years.

Beloved wife of the late Stanley who passed away in 2008. Devoted mother of Stanislaw Karcz and his wife Halina of Lake Hopatcong, and the late Richard Karcz who passed away in 1983. Dear grandmother of Daniel Karcz and his wife Agnieszka, Barbara Karcz, Gregg Baszczij, and the late Richard Karcz who passed away in 2022. Cherished great grandmother of Zoe and Exevior. Dear sister of Ludwika Hyrczyk of Nazareth, PA.

Visiting Friday, January 19, 2024, 4-7 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Saturday, January 20, 2024, 7:30 AM at the funeral home and 8:45 AM at St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church, Garfield. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
