Witalis Garbowski, 69, of Haledon passed away on March 31, 2021.

Born in Garbowo Stare, Poland, he came to the US in 1976 and lived in Harrison and Passaic, before moving to Haledon. A parishioner of Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic, Witalis was a maintenance mechanic for Nabisco in Fair Lawn for 33 years, retiring in 2015.

Beloved husband of Stasia (Mosciszko). Devoted father of Anthony Garbowski of California. Loving grandfather of Alina and Juliana. Dear brother of Irena Rzoca and Miroslawa Grocka of Poland.

Visiting Monday 1-5 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Tuesday 7:45 AM at the funeral home and 9 AM at Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
