Winifred A. Bay (Hoekstra), 93, of Pioneer, California passed away on June 22, 2023. Born and raised in Clifton, which she had been a resident most of her life until moving to California in 1997. Winifred worked for Lexington Florist and Enterprise Bakery in Clifton before retiring to California. She loved living in the Sierra mountains and enjoyed taking walks, reading, crocheting, caring for her pets and pet sitting for her neighbors.

Beloved wife of the late Adam Bay (1986). Loving daughter of the late Gerard Hoekstra and Ester Flanagan and dear sister of the late Gerard Hoekstra (2011). She is survived by her brother Kenn Hoekstra and his wife Alyce of Stevensville, Montana. She was a loving and caring Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 9:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Cremation was private.
