William S. Sowa, 59, of Clifton on May 13, 2010. Born in Poland, William came to the US in 1961 and lived in Passaic before moving to Clifton 45 years ago.

A parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church, Passaic, William was employed by United Parcel Service in Saddle Brook for 15 years, retiring in 2007.

Beloved father of Jeffry of Clifton, Daniel and his wife Sandra of Belleville, and Jessica Sowa of Clifton. Devoted son of Helen (Yelen) Sowa of Clifton, and the late George who died in 1996. Dear brother of Stanley Sova and his wife Joy, Frank and his wife Irene, Anthony and his wife Ann, and Jadwiga "Hedy" Modrzynski and her husband Christopher. Loving grandfather of Nicholas. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.
