William Henry Prettyman, Sr., 92, of Clifton, passed away on May 28, 2013. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Passaic before moving to Clifton in 1968. An Army Veteran of WW II, Bill was a Boilerman for ITT in Clifton for many years, retiring several years ago, and was a parishioner of St. Clare's RC Church, Clifton. Beloved husband for 66 years of Eleanor (Murtha). Devoted father of William, Jr. of Clifton and Gail Prettyman of Enfield, CT. Dear brother of the late Rose. Loving grandfather of Daniel and Dane.
