William Smith Harwood, 67, of Clifton passed away on March 16, 2023. Born in Paterson, he has been a resident of Clifton for many years. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1976. Bill worked as a forklift operator for Menshun Packaging before retiring in 2019.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors and wildlife. Bill enjoyed boating and fishing almost anywhere especially when he was with his nephews, cousins or friends.

Bill was a huge sports guy. Whether it be baseball season watching his Yankees, football season watching his Green Bay Packers or watching his nephew's play lacrosse, he enjoyed it all.

Bill was predeceased by his parents Andrew Charles Harwood and Catherine Joan (Anderson).

Memorial Gathering Friday 4 – 8PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Memorial Service Saturday 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Cremation was private.
