William "Ziggy" Dabal 55, of Clifton passed away on December 25, 2010.

Born in Poland he came to the US in 1967 settling in Passaic, and has been a resident of Clifton most of his life.

A parishioner of St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton, Ziggy was a HVAC Mechanic for Johnson Controls in Nutley, working at Hoffman-LaRoche.

Beloved husband for 29 years of Myriam (Rivadeneira). Devoted father of Michelle and Tracey Dabal. Loving son of Karolina (Biesik) Dabal of Clifton, and the late Walter who died in 1997. Dear brother of Sophie Wilk of Clifton, Viola Ligas of Wallington, Krystyna Kopec and Halina Daszczyszak both of Clifton, the late Jozef who died in 1988 and Sylvester "Sly" who died in 2005.

Funeral Thursday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton. Visiting Tuesday 7-9 PM and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Cremation Private. www.shookfh.com
