Wayne Pierson, 74, of Passaic, passed away on June 20, 2015. Born in Passaic he lived in Wallington and has been a resident of Passaic most of his life. An Army Veteran during Peacetime, Wayne was an Engineer for Garden State Paper in Garfield for 38 years, retiring in 2002, and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local #68, West Caldwell. Beloved father of Laura Van Tilburg of Harleysville, PA, Wayne F. Pierson of South Carolina, and Maryann Pierson-Kopack of Bloomingdale. Dear brother of the late JoAnne Pierson and Elaine Hendrie. Loving grandfather of 8. Visiting Thursday 6-9 PM and Friday 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Military Honors will be presented on Friday at 7:30 PM. Cremation will be private.
