Walter J. Magiera's Obituary
Walter J. Magiera of Clifton, passed away on June 23, 2019. Born in Passaic he lived most of his life in Clifton.
A parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church, Passaic, Walter was a Warehouse Manager for DuPont in Clifton for many years, retiring several years ago, and was a member of the Regina Mundi Knights of Columbus Council #3969, Clifton.
Beloved brother of Helen Mayurnik of Elmwood Park, Theresa Nisivoccia of Clifton, the late Joseph who passed away in 1989, and the late Frances Shaftic who passed away in 1984. Uncle of many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Wednesday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Joseph's RC Church, Passaic. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Tuesday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN, 38105 www.StJude.org , of St. Joseph's RC Chruch, 7 Parker Ave., Passaic, NJ 07055, in memory of Walter, would be greatly appreciated.
