Obituary

Walter Joseph Bysiek, Jr., 76, of Passaic, passed away on January 26, 2025. Born and raised in Passaic, he was a lifelong resident, and was a parishioner of Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic. A US Army Veteran, Walter proudly served his country during the Vietnam War, and was a member of the American Legion Post #359, Passaic. Walter was the Owner of A&W Auto Body, Passaic, for over 40 years, retiring in 2010. Wally loved anything to do with planes, boats, and cars. And being born on International Children's Day he loved to spoil kids with ice cream and toys.

Beloved husband of Teresa (Ogorkowska). Devoted stepfather of Justyna Zareba and her companion Andrew Dubyna of Clifton, Radoslaw Zareba and his companion Andrea Rojas of Passaic, Henryk Zareba and his companion Monika Wiesik, and Anna Pryszynska, all of Poland.
Loving step grandfather of Kamil, Kinga, Aneta, Justyna, Adriana, and Amanda. Dear brother of Bernice Abdul and her husband John, Louise Bysiek and her companion Jeffrey Rozner, and Jeanette Parisi and her husband Peter. Nieces and nephews, Lisa, Alessandra, Ralph, Michele, Joseph, and their families.

Visiting Thursday, January 30, 2025, 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Friday, January 31, 2025, 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
