Walter Jaime Altamirano, 53, of Passaic passed away on May 20, 2020. Born in Callao, Peru, he came to the US in 1989, settled in Passaic. Walter worked for US Food Service for many years.

Loving son of Pablo and Teresa Altamirano. Beloved husband of Idania Checo Altamirano. Devoted father of Nate and Kelsi Altamirano. Dear brother of Gladys, Pablo, Carlos and Karina Altamirano. Cherished uncle of Melanie, Paul, Joey, Manuel, Josimar, Brielle, Kevin, Gian, Kobe, Stacey, Victor and Loreni. He was a generous , self-less, and loving person, who always lit up the room. We know he will be watching over us, and we will continue to cherish everything he has taught us. We will love and remember him always.

Funeral services were private under the direction of Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.

Hijo amoroso de Pablo y Teresa Atlamirano. Querido esposo de Idania Checo Altamirano . Padre devoto de Alexander y Kelsey Altamirano . Querido hermano de Gladys, Esther, Pablo, Carlos y Karina. Tio amoroso de Melanie, Paul, Joey, Manuel, Josimar, Yomico, Kevin, Gan, Kobe, Stacey, Victor y Loreni. Era una persona tan generosa, desinteresada y amorosa que siempre iluminaba la habitación. Sabemos que nos estará cuidando y seguirermos apreciando todo lo que nos ha enseñado. Lo amaremos y recordaremos siempre.

Los servicios fúnebre fueron privado bajo la dirección de la Funeraria Shook, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
