Violet Gil, 106, of Clifton, passed away on May 31, 2022. Born in Passaic, she lived in Wallington before moving to Clifton 72 years ago.

A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Violet was a member of the SJK Leisure Club, the St. Philip Prime Timers, Rosol-Dul VFW Post #359, Passaic, AARP Chapter #878, Clifton, and the Regina Munda Council #3969, Columbiettes. Before retiring in 1978, Violet was a Seamstress for RCR Sportswear on Monroe St., Passaic, for over 20 years.

Beloved wife of the late John Gil. Devoted mother of the late Patricia Gil, who passed away in 2018. Loving grandmother of Barbara Latiano. Dear sister of the late Julia Sapochak, Vilma Skorupa, Eleanor Sikora, and John and Michael Rosol. Cherished aunt of several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visiting Monday 10 AM to 12 Noon at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Monday 12:30 PM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
