Victor Luis Gonzalez "Indio", 66 of Paterson, passed away on April 16, 2015. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he was raised in San Turce, PR, before moving to Paterson in 1964. A Shop Steward for General Grocery Warehouse in Carlstadt, where he worked for 30 years, Indio was also a Sales Representative for Amway Products for many years. Beloved father of Victor E. and his wife Lori of Douglassville, PA, Daniel and his wife Vanessa of Lyndhurst, and Christopher and his wife Annie of East Rutherford. Loving grandfather of Victor, Jayda, Brianna, Randy and Adriana. Devoted son of Victor of Paterson and the late Ramona (Castro). Cherished companion and Luz Sanchez of Paterson. Dear brother of Victoria Laza of Paterson, and Nereida Gonzalez of Miami, Sonia and Edna Gonzalez. Also survived by his former wife, Rosa Gonzalez, who he raised his three sons together with. Funeral Tuesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton.
