Tomas Silva, 89, of Paterson, passed away on December 27, 2018. Born in Spain, he came to the US in 1952 and settled in Paterson. Tomas proudly served in the Spanish Navy, and was the owner and operator of T & E Mason Contractors, Paterson. In his younger years, Tomas was a member of Club Hispano Portugues on Butler St. in Paterson.

Beloved husband of Juana "Jennie" (Martinez). Devoted father of Marianne Silva –Dvorak and her husband Raymond of Paterson, and the late Thomas Silva who passed away in 2012. Cherished grandfather of Richard and his companion Marly, Ariana, Trevor, and Joshua. Dear brother of Josefa Paz and Encarnacion Vilas of Spain. Adored uncle of many nieces, nephews and cousins. Loving brother in law of Francisco Rios, the late Juan Manuel Paz, Jose Vilas, and Vincent Martinez.

Funeral service Thursday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 10 AM at St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org in memory of Tomas's would be greatly appreciated
