Thomas M. Tencza, 80 of Wallington, passed away on October 9, 2012. Born in Wallington, he was a lifelong resident. An Army Veteran of the Korean War, Thomas was the Senior Director of Product Development for Bristol-Myers Squibb in Hillside, where he worked for 34 years, retiring in 1994. A parishioner of Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic, Thomas was a Tenor with the Chopin Singing Society and a member of the American Pharmaceutical Association and the American Chemical Society. Beloved husband for 53 years of Sylvia (Tlusty). Dear brother of Frank Tencza and his wife Theresa of Wayne, and the late Bruno Tencza and Stella Hoffman. Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday 8:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9:30 AM at Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
