Thomas J. Smith, 77, of Clifton and Lake Alfred, FL, passed away on February 13, 2017. Born in Nanticoke, PA, he was a lifelong resident of Clifton.
A US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, Thomas was an Electronic Technician for the US Postal Service in Jersey City for 32 years, retiring 12 years ago.
Beloved husband of the late Lorraine (Seely) who passed away in 1992. Devoted father of Bill Storer of Manchester, Scott Storer of Lyndhurst, Lori Barrows of Clifton and the late Ann Thompson. Dear brother of Connie Cosby of Fl, Marilyn Salloga of Nanticoke, PA, George Smith of PA and Irene Hummel of FL. Loving grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Memorial Gathering Saturday, March 4, 2017, 12 Noon to 2 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Prayer service at 1 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, www.wish.org , in memory of Thomas, would be greatly appreciated.
