Thomas K. Oskierko's Obituary
Thomas K. Oskierko, 97, of Wayne, formerly of Clifton, passed away on March 1, 2019. Born in Garfield, he lived most of his life in Clifton before moving to Wayne 3 years ago.
A parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Thomas was a member of the Regina Mundi Knights of Columbus Council #3969, Clifton. A Navy Veteran of WW II, Thomas was an electrician for Hoffmann-LaRoche, Nutley, for 30 years, retiring in 1984, and served with the Hoffmann-LaRoche Volunteer Fire Department.
Beloved husband for 68 years, of the late Anna (Balut) who passed away in 2016. Devoted father of Arlene Kraft of Wayne and her late husband Kurt Herrmann who passed away in 2017. Loving grandfather of Melissa Alansky and her husband Frank of Gillette. Cherished great grandfather of Emma and Thomas. Dear brother of the late Edward, Vincent and Clara.
Funeral Tuesday 10:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 11 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Tuesday morning 9-10:30 AM at the funeral home.
