Thomas "Tom" R. Athans, 66, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away on January 4, 2017. Born in Passaic, Tom was a resident of New York City since 1971. For the last 10 years he was a Wine Merchant who worked for Montcalm Wine Importers in Manhattan and Dandelion Wines in Brooklyn.

Cherished son of the late Nicholas and Frances Athans. Loving father of Nikos Athans of CA. Dear brother of Silvia and Maria Athans, both of Clifton.

Funeral Tuesday 9:45AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 11AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Clifton. Visiting Monday 4-8PM at the funeral home.
