Thomas Alu, 90, formerly of Passaic Park, passed away September 10, 2010. Born in Sicily, Italy Thomas came to the US in 1930 and lived in Passaic Park for many years before moving to Deltona in 2004, to live with his daughter.

A former parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic, Thomas was a Presser for Saltz & Sons in Passaic for 18 years, retiring in 1981, and was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union Local # 198.

Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Latrecchia) who died in 2001. Devoted father Gracie Alu and her fiance Charles of FL, Thomas and his wife Toni of Nutley, and Jack Bello of Passaic. Dear brother of Joseph and his wife Jean of Clifton. Loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
