Theodore S., Sr. "Ted Muffin" Pletenik, 74, of Paterson, passed away on May 22, 2012. Born in Passaic, he lived most of his life in Clifton before moving to Paterson in 2005. An Army Veteran during Peacetime, Ted was a Salesman for S.B. Thomas in Wayne for 37 years, retiring in 1999. An avid golfer, Ted was a member of the Passaic County Golf Course, Wayne, and was a Ranger and Starter at the course for the past 13 years. Ted was a Coach for the Clifton Central Division Baseball League for many years. Beloved husband for 51 years of Arlene (Pirone). Devoted father of Theodore, Jr. of Paterson, Amy Rypkema and her husband Kevin of NY, and Lori of Paterson. Dear brother of Marguerite Evans and her husband John of Butler. Loving grandfather of Kasey, Robbie, Jamie and Jen. Funeral Saturday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Entombment, Private.
