Theodore Babich of Clifton, passed away on March 12, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital, Passaic, after a short illness. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Anna (Mizgala). Born in Uniondale, PA, he was the son of the late Harry and Mary (Lutchko) Babich of Uniondale. Theodore was a graduate of the Forest City High School, Class of 1948. On November 26, 1955, he married Anna Mizgala of Old Forge, PA in St. Michael's Orthodox Church in Old Forge. After moving to New Jersey, Theodore worked for the Ford Motor Co., Mahwah, and later for Passaic General Hospital, Passaic. A parishioner of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Wayne, Theodore was dedicated to doing different projects at the church like maintenance work, painting and cleaning. A friend to all who needed help, he would always be there for anyone who asked for help. Theodore spent all of his vacations going camping in many different states, with his family of whom he loved very dearly, they were wonderful vacations for all the family. Devoted father of Matthew and his wife Patricia of Wayne and their children Matthew, Shawn and Rachel, Timothy and his girlfriend Francia of Clifton, and the late Theodore, Jr., and his wife Donna of Wantage and their children Teddy, Michael and Christina. Dear brother of Walter of Uniondale. Cherished uncle of six nieces and six nephews. Predeceased by 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Visiting Sunday 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, with Parastas at 8 PM. Funeral Monday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, and 10 AM at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Wayne. Entombment, Tuesday, 1:30 PM at St. Tikhon's Cemetery, South Canaan, PA.
