Thelma Ingwersen's Obituary
Thelma V. Ingwersen (Nee Filippone) age 80 of Toms River formerly of Clifton passed away surrounded by her family on September 4, 2018. She retired as a secretary from the Clifton Board of Education where she worked for 25 years. Thelma was an active member at the Lake Ridge Community in Toms River, she was a member of the Bowing Club, Italian Club, Mahjong Club and the Proof Reader for the Lake Paper.
Beloved wife of Kurt . Devoted mother to John , Ken and his wife Suzanne. Cherished grandmother to Christina, Tylor, Justin, Kirsten and Megan. Dear sister to Richard Filippone and his wife Linda. Thelma is also survived by her nieces and nephews Christine, Katharine, Donald, Richard, Any, Eric and Scott.
Funeral Friday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Andrew's RC Church, Clifton. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visiting Thursday 4-8 PM at the funeral home. If desired donations made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. 425 Eagle Rock Ave. Suite 203 Roseland, NJ 07068, in memory of Thelma, would be greatly appreciated.
