Thaddeus A. Zarych, 87, of Pompton Plains, passed away on December 20, 2011. Born in Newark, he lived in Clifton most of his life, moving to Pompton Plains a year ago. A former member of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Thaddeus was a member of the North Jersey Whiz Skiers and the Nutley Tennis Club. An Army Veteran of WW II, Thaddeus was a Mechanical Designer for Designeers, Inc., Totowa for many years, retiring in 1988. Beloved brother of John of Pompton Plains, Mary Karnas of New Brunswick, and the late Walter, Albina and Helen Zarych. Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 11 AM at Our Lady of the Valley RC Church, Wayne. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, No. Arlington. Visiting Tuesday Morning 9-10 AM.
