Thaddeus A. Gusciora, 85, of Clifton on July 14, 2009. Born in Passaic, he lived there before moving to Clifton in 1956. An Army Veteran of WW II, Ted was a Compositor for the Herald News for 25 years, retiring in 1985, and was a member of the International Typographical Union. An active parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Ted was an Usher and member and past president of the Holy Name Society and was a member of DAV Chapter # 2, Clifton, where he served as chaplain for many years. Beloved husband for over 62 years of Jane E. (Stepien). Devoted father of Mary Jane Mietlowski and her husband William, Kathy Steindler and her husband Barton of Grand Rapids, MI, and Sharon "Bunny" Koribanics and her husband Joseph of Upper Montclair. Dear brother of Walter of Manchester and the late Leocadia Salek, Victor and John. Loving grandfather of Zachary. Funeral Saturday 11 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 12 noon at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
