Susan A. Umhoefer's Obituary
Susan A. (Urry) Umhoefer, 61, of Lexington, SC, passed away on November 12, 2016. Born in Passaic, she lived in Clifton and Paterson before moving to Lexington, SC, in 2014.
A former parishioner of St. James of the Marches RC Church, Totowa, Sue was active with the church bingo, ran the Aftercare Program and organized the school dances. Sue worked for Dr. Ira Rochelle in Passaic, and Drs. Conroy and Cubero in Clifton and Lyndhurst for many years. Sue was also a Medical Transcriptionist for Metro Transcription for the past 20 years.
Beloved wife of the late William, III, who passed away in 2011. Devoted mother of Rachel of Lexington, and William, IV, and his wife Shannon of Vernon. Loving grandmother of Evelyn. Dear sister of Ellen Corsi of Oceanport, John Urry of Delaware, Chris Urry of Georgia, Ken Urry of Pennsylvania and Steven Urry of Virginia.
Funeral Friday 8 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9:30 AM at St. James of the Marches RC Church, Totowa. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Foundation for Women's Cancer | 230 W. Monroe St, Suite 710 | Chicago, Illinois 60606-4902, www.foundationforwomenscancer.org in memory of Sue, would be greatly appreciated.
