Sulabha P. Dabhi, 82, of Woodside, Queens, NY, passed away on April 23, 2026. Born in Ahwa Dang, Gujarat, India, she came to the US in 1973 and settled in New York City. She worked as a Phlebotomist at St. Luke's Hospital in NY for many years before retiring. Prior to working as a Phlebotomist, she worked as a Nurse in India.

Sulabha will be remembered as a woman of deep love, compassion, and quiet strength. She devoted her life to caring for others, both in her profession and within her family. As a mother and grandmother, she was the heart of her home, always placing her family first and offering unconditional love, guidance, and support. To her grandchildren, she held an especially cherished role as a trusted confidante and keeper of secrets. She took that responsibility very seriously, though on occasion those "secret" stories were shared with a playful sparkle in her eye and the familiar words, "Don't tell anyone I told you this, but..." Her warmth, kindness, humor, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her, and her legacy lives on through the family she cherished so deeply.

Visiting and Puja services will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 9-11 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, NJ. Cremation will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Ave., Clifton, NJ.
