Steve Pinchak's Obituary
Steve Pinchak, 90, of Clifton, passed away on October 14, 2017. Born in Passaic, he lived there before moving to Clifton in 1940.
A parishioner of Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church, Garfield, Steve was a Custodian for the Clifton Board of Education for 23 years, retiring in 1993. Steve had also worked for Van Raatle as a Lace Weaver for many years.

A Navy Veteran of WW II, Steve proudly served his country aboard the USS PCE 896, and was a member and Past Commander of the Athenia Veteran Post, Clifton.
Steve enjoyed playing cards with his friends at the Athenia Veterans Post, his many trips to the casinos, and was a diehard "Yankee Fan" Steve was predeceased by his wife Carol A. (Fierro) in 1988.
Beloved father of Catherine Pinchak and her companion Robert Russnak of Clifton, and the late Steven D. and Michael J., who both passed away in 2015. Dear father in law of Kathleen Pinchak of Carteret. Loving grandfather of Stephanie Florek and her husband Anthony, and Steven Pinchak. Cherished great grandfather of Connor Florek. Devoted companion of Dianne McIndoe of Clifton. Dear brother of the late Anna Semtak, Mary Rascher, Helen and John Pinchak. Sadly missed by "Dixie".
Funeral Thursday 10:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Wednesday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
