Stephen Nikithser, 81, of Clifton passed away on September 1, 2010. Born in Passaic, Stephen was a lifelong resident of Clifton.

A parishioner of St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton, Stephen was a member of the Regina Mundi Council # 3969, Knight of Columbus, Clifton as well as the General Sick & Benefits Society of Holy Trinity, Passaic. An Army Veteran of the Korean War, Stephen was employed by Givaudan, Fritsche Brothers, and later Miles Laboratories, all in Clifton, before retiring many years ago.

Beloved husband of Theresa (Kopitar). Devoted father of Stephen and his wife Eileen of Beaver, PA, Thomas of Wayne, Robert of Hackettstown, JoAnn Pelonero and her husband Dr. Anthony of Midlothian, VA, Emily Tarantola of North Haledon, and David and his wife Dawn of Fieldsboro. Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Stephen, Patrick, Jessica, Christina, Andrew, Kelsey, Alex, Lee and Theresa. Dear brother of the late John and Fred. Cherished brother in law of Ruth and Mary Ann.

Funeral Saturday 8 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at St. Paul's RC Church, corner of Second and Union Ave., Clifton. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Friday 3-7 PM. www.shookfh.com
