Stephen T. Messineo, 98, of Hamilton, formerly of Clifton passed away on November 1, 2010. Born in Passaic, he lived most of his life in Clifton before moving to Hamilton 13 years ago.

A former parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic, Stephen was the Health Inspector for the City of Passaic for many years, retiring in 1978. An Army Veteran of WW II, Stephen was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton.

Beloved husband for 57 years of the late Philomena "Fannie" (Bollettino), who died in 2006. Devoted father of the late Stephen P. who died earlier this year. Dear father in law of Judy of Hamilton. Loving grandfather of Amy Lynn Siciliano and her husband Joseph of Nutley, and Stephen Nicholas Messineo of Hamilton. Also survived by sister Rose Tesoriere of CA, sister in law Pam Bollettino of FL, nephews Charles Tesoriere of Jupiter, FL, Anthony Tesoriere and his wife Louise of Hanford, CA, and niece Rosemarie DeNova of VA.
