Stephen H. Lewis, 71, of Clifton, died Friday, September 4, 2009. Born in the Inwood section of Manhattan, he had a lifelong love of New York City, the Indianapolis Colts, and he never got over the departure of the Brooklyn Dodgers. An Army Veteran, he served during the Vietnam War. Stephen was an ad man for BBDO in New York City, later doing freelance marketing work for a variety of clients. He is survived by his wife, Susan Lewis; two daughters, Barbara and Jennifer Lewis; a grandson, Arthur Monastra; a sister and brother-in-law, Constance and David Ellison; two nephews, Wayne and Bobby Ellison; a niece, Janet Pearsall; and lifelong friends Herb and Roz Ringel and Steve and Kathy Harris. A memorial service is planned for Sunday from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. www.shookfh.com
