Stephen Kowal, 87, of Passaic passed away on September 27, 2011. Born in Passaic he lived in Florida for 15 years, returning to Passaic several years ago. A Navy Veteran of WW II, Stephen was a former parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. An Electrician by trade, Stephen was the Owner of Stephen Kowal Electrician in Passaic for 40 years, retiring 25 years ago. Beloved husband of Rose (Vetrano) who passed away in 1999. Devoted father of Janet Lazzaro and her husband Patrick of Ringwood, Gregory and his wife Theresa of Newton. Loving grandfather of Christopher, Kaitlyn and Bryan Lazzaro, Adam and Ashley Kowal.
