Stella Theresa (Niemiec) Gola, 96, of Clifton passed away on April 12, 2023. Born in Pittston, PA, she lived in Garfield before moving to Clifton in 1956. A parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Stella worked as a secretary for Fordham University, NY, for many years before retiring.

Beloved wife of the late Walter Gola who passed away in 1983. Devoted mother of Catherine Geene and her husband Richard of SC, Sophie Prendergast of Clifton and her late husband Robert, and Joseph Gola and his wife Janet of Sussex. Loving grandmother of Rachel Grant and her husband Christopher, Thomas Geene and his partner Eric Gammon, Erin Jaeger and her husband Dr. Thomas Jaeger, Daniel Prendergast and his wife Josephine, Dr. Ashley Drogo and her husband Todd, Caitlin Scharff and her husband Jonathan and Kyle Gola and his partner Amy McKinney. Cherished great-grandmother of Madeline, Savannah and Eloise Jaeger, Hadley Drogo, Layla Scharff, Tenley Grant, and Callen Grant.

Visiting Sunday 2 – 6 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Service Monday 8:15 AM at the funeral home and 9:30 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
