Stanley J. Zignorski, Jr., 88, of Bloomfield, formerly of Clifton, passed away on April 24, 2023. Born in Passaic, he lived in Clifton, Bloomingdale, Butler, Whiting, Belleville, and Bloomfield, and most recently in Milford, PA.

A former parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Stanley proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War and was a member of the Clifton VFW.

Stanley worked in the supermarket industry, first as a driver for the 7-Up Company, and later in the Deli Departments of ShopRite and Pathmark Supermarkets. Stanley was a member of the United Food and Commercial Workers of NJ Local 464A, Little Falls.

Stanley loved his family and always looked forward to being with them. He attended countless football and basketball games, and band and color guard competitions to see his children and grandchildren play. He was very much looking forward to being a great grandfather in July.

Stanley enjoyed watching professional sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and NY Yankees fan. One of his true loves was Polka music and was an avid polka dancer, attending many polka dance festivals and weekends, hosted by Jimmy Sturr, Joe Stanky, Bernie Witkowski, and many others. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoying fishing trips with his boys and grandsons and hunting trips with his son.

Stanley saw the world with his beloved Barbara, visiting South America to see the penguins, Canada to see the polar bears, Europe to enjoy the food and beer, and 49 of the 50 states on many a family vacation camping trip and RV drives across the country. He and Barbara enjoyed their special vacation trips where they worked part-time in Disneyworld and Yellowstone National Park.

Beloved husband of the late Barbara (Konrady) who passed away in 2014. Devoted father of Kenneth Zignorski of Bloomfield, Regina Zignorski of Clifton, and Steven Zignorski and his wife Maureen of Jefferson. Loving and proud grandfather of Steven Zignorski, Jr., and his wife Jenna, Matthew Zignorski and his fiancée Danielle, Michael Zignorski and his wife Madison, and Jimmy Zignorski. Special companion of Margie Gay, Milford, Pennsylvania.

Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Monday 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
