Stanley Stopka, 81, of Clifton, passed away on February 24, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Skrzypne, Poland, he came to the US in 1971 and settled in Clifton. A devout parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Stanley attended Mass daily, served as an Usher at the Polish Masses for many years and was a volunteer at the Annual Parish Picnic. Stanley was a Machine Operator for Missbrenner Prints, Inc. in Clifton for 25 years, retiring in 1997. Beloved husband for 62 years of Sophie (Klus). Devoted father of Maria Stoch and her husband Andrzej of Zab, Poland, Wladyslaw Stopka and his wife Bogusia of W. Milford, and Sophie Pilny and her husband Stanley of Sparta. Dear brother of John of Passaic, Maria Skubisz of Czerwienne, Poland, and Peter of Clifton. Loving grandfather of Zack Stoch, Stanislaw Stoch, Richard Pilny, Barbara Polak, Peter Pilny, Renata Mizak, Bernadette Stopka, Christopher Stopka and Stas Pilny, Jr. Cherished great grandfather of Caroline Stoch, Suzy Stoch, Klimek Stoch, Julia Stoch, Emily Pilny, Kasia Polak, Maximillian Stoch, Richard Pilny, Jr., Alexander Mizak, Magdalyn Pilny, Nina Pilny, Zofia Polak, Michael Pilny, Kamilla Mizak, Victor Padilla, Jr., Gabriella Pilny and Jakub Stoch. Funeral Monday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
