Stanley V. Pogoda, 84, of Clifton passed away December 9, 2010. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Lyndhurst before moving to Clifton 52 years ago.

An Army Veteran of WW II, Stanley was the Owner of Eagle Dye & Stamping Co. on Fulton St. in NYC for 30 years, and was a parishioner of St. Clare's RC Church, Clifton.

Beloved husband for 56 years of Christine C. (Wos). Devoted father of June Shoemaker and her husband Barry of Wayne, Stanley and his wife Kathleen of Middletown, Carol Pogoda and her boyfriend Keith Cooper of Hackensack. Dear brother of Edward and his wife Valerie of North Arlington, Lottie Hibberd and her husband Roy of Clifton, the late Chester, Katherine Napor, and his twin brother Frank who died in 2008. Loving grandfather of Robert and Stephanie. Cherished brother in law of Carl and Stell and Stella Pogoda.
