Stanley Joseph Peskosky, 90, of Clifton, passed away on July 11, 2018. Born in Simpson, PA, he moved to Passaic in 1951 before settling in Clifton in 1965. Stanley was a proud Army veteran of WWII, belonging to the American Legion Post 1000. A parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel RC Church, Lyndhurst, Stan was a tool and die maker for Western Electric in Kearny, and a member of the Telephone Pioneers.

Beloved husband of Lita (Sauciunas) for 67 years. Devoted father of Robert S. Peskosky and his wife Margo Ferguson of Clifton, and Paul Peskosky and his wife Nancy of Clifton. Cherished grandfather of Keith Peskosky and his wife Ellie, Kyle Peskosky and his wife Krissy, Kasty Peskosky, Amanda Peskosky, Laura Tresca and her husband Michael, Paul Peskosky Jr., and Christine Peskosky. Adored great-grandfather of Emma. Dear brother of Helen Bianchi of Simpson, PA, Lynore Hill of Rockville, MD, and Joseph Peskosky of Peckville, PA. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Tuesday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10:00 AM at St. Michael the Archangel RC Church, Lyndhurst. Cremation, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visitation Monday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
