Stanley L. Mikolajczyk, 92, of Clifton, passed away on January 13, 2012. Born in Garfield, he lived in Clifton all of his life. An Army Veteran of WW II, Stanley was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton. A Carpenter by trade, Stanley worked for the US Quarantine in both Clifton and Newburgh, NY, as well as his own carpentry business, where he was known as "Stan Mikols", before retiring several years ago. Beloved husband for 67 years of Wendy (Gwodz). Devoted father of Thomas and his wife Sharon of Clifton, and Susan McQuade of Colorado Springs, CO. Loving grandfather of Andrew and his wife Dana, James and his wife Bethany, Kristin Mikolajczyk, and Brett McQuade and his wife Dawn. Cherished great grandfather of Gavin and Amelia. Dear brother of the late William and George, Violet Kievitt, Helen Tuttle, and Sophie Ozga who passed away in December. Funeral Tuesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.
