Stanislawa Karcz's Obituary
Stanislawa "Stasia" (Leja), 86, of Clifton passed away on July 4, 2016. Born in Podczerwone, Poland, Stasia came to the US in 1963 and first settled in Passaic before moving to Clifton in 1973. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Stasia was a member of their Rosary Society and was also a member of the Stowrzyszenie Podhalan Club of Clifton. A lover of Polish music, Stasia enjoyed dancing, sewing and spending time at her country home in upstate NY.
Devoted wife of the late Jozef, who passed away in 1988. Beloved mother of Janina Kowalczyk and her husband Stanislaw of Otego, NY, John and his wife Christina, William and his wife Luz, and Stanley, all of Clifton, and the late Tadeusz "Ted", who passed away in 1983. Cherished grandmother of Ted, Bozena, Stanley, Celina, John, Grace, Diane, Renee, Christopher, Danielle, Michael, and the late Joseph. Dear great grandmother of 12 and 1 on the way.

Funeral Friday 9AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10AM at St. John Kanty RC Church. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9PM at the funeral home
