Stanislaw Konarski, 82, of Clifton on July 14, 2010. Born in Poland he came to the United States in 1962 settling in Passaic, before moving to Clifton in 1972.

A machine operator for Whippany Paper Co. of Clifton for 25 years, Stanislaw later worked for the Okonite Co. of Passaic and Ploch's Farm in Clifton, before retiring. A parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church, Passaic, Stanislaw was a Polish Army Veteran of WW II.

Beloved husband of the late Janina (Miklow) who died in 2008. Devoted father of Richard and his wife Mary of Elmwood Park, John and his wife Grace of Kinnelon, and the late Henryk, who died in 2005. Dear Brother of the late Kazimir who died in Poland earlier this year. Adoring grandfather of Christopher, Mark, Jillian, Joy, Victoria, Amanda, Jason, Jennifer, and Jeffrey. Cherished great grandfather of Connor and Ryan.

Funeral Saturday 8 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave. Clifton and 9 AM at St. Joseph's RC Church, Passaic. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Friday 5-9 PM. www.shookfh.com
