Stanislaw Fiust, 79, of Clifton, passed away on August 29, 2025.

Born in Gora Jana, Poland, Stanislaw immigrated to the United States in 1987, first settling in Jersey City before making Clifton his home in 2015. A dedicated parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, he worked as a welder for Ironworks in Jersey City for many years until his retirement.

In his early career in Nowa Huta, Krakow, Stanislaw was a skilled inventor, contributing to several patents that reflected his creativity and technical talent. Beyond his work, he was passionate about gardening, always ensuring his family enjoyed fresh, seasonal vegetables from his garden. He had a deep love for animals, especially his cherished cat, Kasia. He also enjoyed reading about history, traveling, and playing the lottery—always hopeful for a big win.

Stanislaw will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to help anyone in need. He was a beloved husband to Wanda (Krzywon) Fiust, devoted father to Edyta Tarkowska and her husband Slawomir, and Monika Komosinski and her husband Pawel. He was a loving grandfather to Dominika, Roza, Julia, Peter, and Adam, and a proud great-grandfather to Aria and Dylan. He is also survived by his dear sisters, Barbara Kapron, Krystyna Pajak, and Maria Kurek.

Stanislaw leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and quiet strength that will live on in the hearts of his family, friends and all who knew him.
