Souad Batraki, 82, of Clifton, passed away on April 18, 2017. Born in Damascus, Syria, she came to the US in 1983 and settled in Clifton.
A parishioner of Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church, Little Falls, Souad was a homemaker.
Beloved wife of the late George Mkalech who passed away in 1997. Devoted mother of Michael, Mansour, Elias and Amal Mkalech, all of Syria, Farid Mkalech of Clifton, Emad Mkalech of South Carolina, Fadia and Hannan Mkalech of Woodland Park. Loving grandmother of 26. Dear sister of Fouad and Nihad Batraki of Syria.
Funeral Friday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church, Little Falls. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Visiting Thursday 5-9 PM at the funeral home.
