Sophie (Klapacz) Panasiewicz, 75, of Passaic, passed away on April 9, 2013. Born in Poland, she came to the US in 1960 and settled in Passaic. A parishioner of Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic, Sophie was a Seamstress for many years. Beloved wife of the late Mikolaj who passed away in 1988. Devoted mother of Edward and his wife Jody of Charleston, SC, and Mary Torres of Passaic. Dear sister of Maria Lukasczyk, Teresa Sudol and Joseph Klapacz, all of Wallington. Loving grandmother of Edward, Jr., Christopher, William, Lynn and Joseph of SC, and Samantha and Sophie of Passaic. Funeral Saturday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10:15 AM at Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Thursday & Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
