Spohie (Chorney) Gutkowski, 90 of Bridgewater on July 18, 2010. Born in Rittman, Ohio, Sophie lived in Brooklyn, NY, and Little Falls for over 30 years, before moving to Branchburg 7 years ago.

A former parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Sophie was a sales clerk for Two Guys in Totowa for many years, and later Bradlee's in Totowa for 10 years before retiring in 2000.

Beloved wife of the late William R. who died in 1991. Devoted mother of William R and his wife Louise of Branchburg, Robert A. and his wife Margaret of Fairfield, Ca. and Kenneth P. and his wife Cindy of Marlton. Loving sister of Luba Davis and Ann Mazza of Clifton, and Anthony Chorney of Maspeth, Queens. Cherished grandmother of 5.
