Funeral services for Sister Mary Theresine Maliszewsk a will be held at the Felician Sisters Infirmary Chapel, Our Lady of Lourdes Hall, at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, September 9, 2009. Following the Mass of Christian Burial, Sister will be laid to rest in the Felician Sisters Cemetery in Lodi. Sister Mary Theresine died on Friday, September 4, 2009 in Lodi. She was 89 years old and had been a Felician Sister for 71 years. A wake service will be held at the same location on Tuesday evening, September 8, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. The former Henrietta Maliszewska, Sister Mary Theresine was born in Trenton, New Jersey in 1920. She entered the postulancy of the Felician Sisters in Lodi, New Jersey in 1938, and received the Felician habit in 1939. She made first religious vows in 1940 and professed final vows in 1946. A competent math and science teacher on the elementary and secondary levels, Sister Mary Theresine had a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Villanova University. Sister Mary Theresine is survived by members of her extended family and mourned by professional co lleagues and past students.
