Sister Mary Paulinette. Funeral services for Sister Mary Paulinette Drabik will be held at the Felician Sisters' Infirmary Chapel, Our Lady of Lourdes Hall, at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, May 4, 2011. Following the Mass of Christian Burial, Sister Paulinette will be laid to rest in the Felician Sisters' Cemetery in Lodi. Sister Mary Paulinette died on April 28, 2011 in Lodi. She was 91 years old and had been a Felician Sister for 69 years. An Evening Prayer service will be held at the same location on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. The former Frances Drabik, Sister Mary Paulinette was born in Jersey City, in 1920. She entered the postulancy of the Felician Sisters in Lodi, in 1941, and received the Felician habit in 1942. She made first religious vows in 1943 and professed final vows in 1949. Sister Mary Paulinette was a teacher on both the elementary and secondary levels. As a high school teacher, she was an outstanding business educator. From 1969 until 1993, Sister Paulinette used her business acumen as a Director of the Business and Finance Office of Felician College. She was awarded the President's Medallion for her outstanding service to Felician College. From 1993 through 1998 she was a pastoral minister and then a local minister at Our Lady of Lourdes Infirmary. In her latter years, Sister Paulinette contributed her services as a teacher and/or library aide at St. James School in Basking Ridge, and St. John Kanty School in Clifton. Sister Paulinette is survived by her dear sister, Mary Ann Zaorski of Lyndhurst; her nephew Dr. Kenneth Zaorski of Rutherford; her nephew Gerard Bukowski of Lyndhurst, and by members of her extended family; her Felician family; many professional colleagues and friends.
