Funeral services for Sister Mary Nora Cebula will be held at the Felician Sisters Infirmary Chapel, Our Lady of Lourdes Hall, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, January 25, 2011.

Following the Mass of Christian Burial, Sister Nora will be laid to rest in the Felician Sisters Cemetery in Lodi. Sister Mary Nora died on January 21, 2011 in Hackensack, New Jersey. She was 92 years old and had been a Felician Sister for 73 years.

An Evening Prayer service will be held at the same location on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 6:00 PM.

The former Anna Cebula, Sister Mary Nora was born in Reading, PA in 1919. She entered the postulancy of the Felician Sisters in Lodi, New Jersey in 1937, and received the Felician habit in 1938. She made first religious vows in 1939 and professed final vows in 1945. Sister Mary Nora dedicated herself to the educational and healthcare ministries.

Sister Mary Nora is survived by her sister, Sister Mary Agatha Cebula, who is a member of the administrative team of Saint Ignatius Nursing Home in Philadelphia, PA. Sister Nora is also survived by members of her extended family as well as professional colleagues and friends.
