Felician Sister Mary Francetta DeSant, passed away on February 21, 2019, she was 94 years old.

Funeral services for Sister Mary Francetta DeSant will be held at the Felician Sisters' Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel, Lodi, New Jersey at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 25, 2019.  Sister Mary Francetta will then be laid to rest in the Felician Sisters' Cemetery.

A Wake Service with Evening Prayer will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel on Sunday evening, February 24, 2019,  at 6:00 p.m.

The former Anna DeSant, Sister Mary Francetta was born in Carrolltown, Pennsylvania, in 1923. She entered the postulancy of the Felician Sisters in Lodi, New Jersey in 1952; received the Felician habit in 1953; professed her first vows in 1954 and final vows in 1960.

Sister Mary Francetta is survived by members of her extended family and by her religious community.
